My name is Brian Adams, I am 17 years old and I am entering my senior year at Carl Sandburg HS (2019).
I am a switch-hitting SS/CF that just loves the game. I started hitting from both sides of the plate when I was 3 years old. My grandpa is the main reason why I started switch-hitting and so glad that he introduced this to me at an early age because I love to see the strides I have made over the years and knowing how much work I put into doing it.
My grandpa and dad both played four years of college baseball and my dad was able to play one year at the next level. My goal is to put in the work to surpass what they both did and try and play at the highest level I can.
On the other side, my grandma was a HS teacher and my mom is currently a HS teacher. Education is important in my house! Obviously, baseball is extremely important, but so is education. My parents and grandparents all make sure that I have that true school/baseball balance because like they have told me, "baseball is great but it doesn't last forever".
